With 21+ total years experience in dealing with the paranormal, MRPRS is made of people who have a desire to know the truth. Each member brings different talents to the team that has made our investigations and our research very successful. We have found ourselves becoming not only a close team but a family as well.

Mountain Ridge Paranormal Research are:

                                                     Rachel

Rachel – Co-founder and Lead Investigator

CPR/First Aid Trained, Event Organizer

Perhaps Rachel wanted answers about the paranormal or perhaps she was pressured by her sister to help co-found a paranormal investigation team. Either way, after co-founding MRPRS, Rachel discovered a new passion that she could add to her life. Along with being a wife, a mother, and an aspiring writer, Rachel now runs around in the dark, equipment in hand, seeking out truth. She likes to volunteer with many projects in the paranormal field and she has been very successful in these projects. Not too many people wanted to mess with her as the Bride at a local haunted mansion. Rachel can't wait for the next time she can get out and be involved. Groom's beware!

Barry – Case Manager

Communication Training, Event Planning, Leadership training

Not only has Barry been interested in the paranormal his entire life, he also joined MRPRS just to keep up with his co-founding daughters. Barry can recall his first vivid encounter with the paranormal and from that point on he has had many experiences in his life. It was a natural move to team up with his daughters in hopes to find the truth. Papa Bear is a husband, father, and proud grandfather who enjoys spending time with his family, especially if it is paranormal investigating.

Chuck – Investigator

Professional Investigator, Technology Experience

Chuck did not realize that when he joined MRPRS that he would become a part of another family. The team quickly adopted him as their very own Uncle Chuck. Chuck has been investigating the paranormal for a while before joining up with MRPRS. With his knowledge and experience, he has brought so much to the team. Chuck is a loving husband, proud father and grandfather. He is also the proud uncle of MRPRS.

Jessica – Co-founder and Lead Investigator

Media Technology, Research Training, self proclaimed history nut

Jessica's first passion in life evolved in the fifth grade when she got an in depth look into local history. Since then, Jessica's love of history has sent her on many adventures. She quickly accepted the opportunity to start a paranormal investigation team. She has always been interested in the paranormal but to her, there is no closer way to reach out and touch the past than to go to historical sites and homes, hear the stories, and investigate. So along with being a wife and mother, she helps lead MRPRS. She hopes that through MRPRS, they can catch a moment of history that the whole world can savor.

Shana - Investigator
 Administration

Shana lives in Christiansburg with her husband Brian (of 13 years) and their two children. They also have a dog, a cat, a hamster, a gerbil, and a snake. Yes, they live in a zoo! Shana joined MRPRS because she loves everything to do with the paranormal. Shana has been around the paranormal her entire life. Shana lives with a child who sees spirits and had a grandmother who was a psychic. She has the ability to touch an object to feel its energy and understand certain aspects about the objects that most people could not. It is an awesome but scary gift. She has also has unexplainable dreams that deal with the paranormal. So now she wants to be a part of showing others that there is life after death.

Donna – Investigator

Communication Training, Paranormal Investigation Training

There is just something about Donna. As a MRPRS member, she has had the most “responses” from our total EVP sessions. These responses often come after her questions and they are often loud and clear. Donna is a proud mother and is excited to be able to investigate the paranormal with her daughter Kari. Donna remembers listening to her father tell ghost stories when she was a child. This sparked an interest in the paranormal. She has always been intrigued with forensic science, matched with her interest in the paranormal, it was only natural for her to join MRPRS. She also investigates with her brother Barry and two nieces, Jessica and Rachel. Yes, it's a family affair.
